Art 2024 Korean traditional jogakbo-inspired patchwork. Students placed tissue paper onto their canvas and sprayed water to explore the science behind colour-transfer, creating unique pieces of art.

KOREA Day 2023 In celebration of Korea Day for art class, students created patchwork art inspired by the local tradition of Jogakbo which is a famous method of creating materials through patchwork. Students used tissue paper, and water to transfer the colors of tissue paper onto a white paper. Students created their unique patterns and thoroughly enjoyed the exploration of the effect of water on coloured paper.
